Hash Brown Sausage Bake

1 pkg. refrigerated hash browns, southern style
1/3 cup butter, melted
1 tsp beef bouillon granules
1 pound bulk pork sausage
1/3 cup chopped onion
1 cup small curd cottage cheese
3 eggs, lightly beaten
1 cup grated cheese

In a large bowl, combine the hash browns, butter and bouillon. Pour into a deep round dish (about 9-10 inches). Bake at 350° for 25-30 minutes or until edges are lightly browned.

Meanwhile, in a large skillet, cook sausage and onion until meat is no longer pink; drain. In a large bowl, combine the sausage mixture, cottage cheese, eggs, and grated cheese. Pour on top of baked hash browns. Bake at 350° for 40-45 minutes or until a knife inserted near the center comes out clean.
